I shouldn't rise to such rubbish, but I've been pretty much spot on about everything in recent years.

Lol. Younger prospects you say? Idiot.

By the way, when it comes to bringing in players, I’d like to see us concentrating on younger prospects rather than the finished article. We’ve got plenty of older, established players right now.
I don’t think we’ll be relegated this season and I doubt we’ll be bothering the Champions League places the next couple of seasons, so why not bring in some youngsters?

Considering you’re literally wrong about everything, Alex, I’m more confident than ever that a lot of our underperforming players will turn it around by the end of the season.

I'm honestly fearing the nightmare scenario. That fear dominates the decision-making again, we shift nobody and just top up with mediocre overpriced players.

We need a complete overhaul of the midfield
Obiang only works when he has time and space, bad decisions under pressure
Kouyaté is just all over the place at the moment
Ayew can sniff a goal and work hard but has no pace or awareness
Carvalho and N’Zonzi as our 2 midfielders with Obiang and Noble as the rotations
Our forwards will be good if we give them a midfield who can give them the ball and do something
Defenders have proved they are good enough and can do it, midfielders let the defensive unit down yesterday. Don’t bring in anymore defenders, blood rice and oxford in 2018. I believe Byram will become an amazing player for us when he returns as a right wing back
Post January ideal line up
Adrian
Reid Ogbonna Cresswell
Byram N’Zonzi Carvalho Masuaku
Antonio Lanzini Arnautovic
When we are in strong positions or against a team defending deep we can take off one of the holding midfielders and put on Chicharito
Summary: Cancel Hart Loan and bring in Bentley from Brentford Sell Ayew and Kouyaté and just get rid of them for whatever we can sell them for Bring in N’Zonzi and carvalho Bring in a winger / attacking mid for when Lanzini is rested / injured
This requires circa 80 million depending on what we sell Ayew and Kouyaté for

Sir Alf I agree we need to strengthen in midfield, but we also need a commanding CB and a striker if as predicted Sakho leaves. I see we are being linked with Alfie Mawson valued at 20 mill by Swansea. We should go for Bristol City's Aden Flint instead,a lot cheaper and just what we need at the back. Also Jordan Hugill up front from Preston North End. A real handful of a striker. These are two of the best from the Championship. I'll leave you to concentrate on young midfielders.

Clearly you’re a fucking halfwit and the fact I said he’s a liability and not as good as our midfield seems to have bypassed your singular braincell.
You really are a dumb wanker. Carry on with you drivel son, its mildly amusing.

Buy 2 or 3 midfielders who are under 27, have good technique and put a shift in, have physical presence and pace. Not sure we will get the quality needed in Jan but we have to try. Even against Stoke we were struggling to keep the ball for long periods and invariably gave it straight back.
Get the right players in and it could make all the difference and give the forwards decent service and moreover link up defence and attack

You've yet to produce an argument, so while you're plainly fucking stupid, there's not a lot to go on. Obiang gives the ball away more often than he passes it to one of our own. He's been shockingly poor of late, so your use of the term 'class' in comparing him is just dim.
I wouldn't buy Arter personally, but of the players we've realistically been linked to, would he strengthen our matchday squad ? I reckon he would. More pace than Noble, better passer than Pedro.
Put forward an argument, or an alternative, or just carry on being a cunt.

He can't hold down a place in the Bournemouth 1st team. He's reckless in most of his challenges and argumentative all of the time. He is not in the same class as Pedro.
By way of your arguments it suggests you are clinically insane as well as knowing fuck all about football!

"Ideally"
I'd quite David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne while we're at it. Having said that, they both lack height, let's go for Fellaini instead.

Re: Wheeling and Dealing: Who to try and shift in January?

Doing what Noble does with a bit more sharpness is not the only criteria. Ideally you'd want a player with a future - Arter probably doesn't have much of one. You'd want them to be capable of being a top player - I don't think Arter is. You'd want them to have height and pace. A goal threat perhaps.

I may well be clinically insane, but I bet I've watched him play more often that you. As Russ of the BML puts it below:
"He does what Noble does but is faster and fitter. So he is an upgrade." Argue the contrary, if you can.
Unless you're seriously suggesting that Pedro 'I only pass to the oppo' Obiang is better ? Again, argue the contrary. If not, shut your hole. Oh, and this ain't about me wanting Arter. Mind you, you're probably the sort who imagines we'll be signing N'zonzi.
